While watching the pictures I was tempted in thinking that these long arms were a mistake from the brand. Thanks for adding this detail and it is interesting to see that proto-T-Rexes were completely different from their best known grandsons. :)
The other friend has a very vintage looking, an interesting creature. Very Happy

Australovenator Basic Facts
Australovenator is a Rare theropod from Australia (duh Razz) . It is known from a few bones that make up an arm and a leg, and right Jaw dentary. A Phylogenic Analysis has shown that It was part of the Allosaur family, specifically, it was a member of the Carcharodontosaur Family and was closely related to Neovenator. It likely preyed on Muttaburasaurus, and  its little cousin Leaellynasaura.

Rhetosaurus Basic Facts
Rhetoesaurus is a poorly known Dinosaur, that’s also from Australia. It is definitely a sauropod, but were it fits in the family is uncertain. At first, it was thought to be part of  a family called the Cetiosaurids, but the family was nothing more then a bunch of bones from other Primitive Sauropod’s. Currently, its thought that it was related to the Clubbed tailed Shunosaurus, and so Rhetoesaurus may have had a club as well.  Its name was inspired by a Giant named Rhoetus, from Greek Mythology.

Interesting that they used a "rampante" pose to rhetosaurus as they did with jobaria! Very Happy
The australovenator has these kind of names I like. So it is the hunter from Australia as concavenator is the hunter from Cuenca. It is a shame that a neovenator is not a hunter from New Zealand. It should be called wightvenator or anglovenator instead. geek
The Australovenator has huge hands and eyes. It gives him a cartoonish looking. Maybe they were even more cartoonish in real life? Interesting world. Very Happy

Afrovenator Basic Facts
African Hunter, is the meaning of this Dinosaurs name. It is among the most complete Theropods from that continent, and it is among the most controversial.  Arguments about  what this dinosaur is the issue. When it was first discovered, it was thought to have been a primitive Spinosaur, but later it was thought to have been a Megalosaur and  more recently, it was thought to have been a Allosaur, (exactly what it is is still under debate). Like the Sauropod Jobaria, it was thought to have lived during the late Cretaceous period, but after further studies of the sediment in its discovery location, it is now believed to have lived in the  mid Jurassic instead.

Dolichorhynchops Basic Facts

Dolichorhynchops was a Plesiosaur about the size of a Dolphin. It ate fish and was hunted down by Mosasaurs and sharks. Unlike other Plesiosaurs, it had a short neck but a long snout. It was discovered in the United State Named Kentucky, which today is above land, but at the time it was alive the State was completely underwater.

Thanks once more, Takama. Very Happy
Anotehr venator with geographic naming. Very Happy Very confuse indeed. confused
Dolichorhynchops is a very unusual creature. It is those kind of animals that I consider buying someday although I'm not collecting prehistoric reptiles, just as you can confirm in my avatar. Laughing I am sure this animal was as cute as a dolphin and as clever as a plathelminthe. Very Happy

Basic Facts
Velociraptor is perhaps the most overrated dinosaur on the planet, due to the fact that it has appeared in Jurassic park as a scaly 9 foot hunter with high intelligence. In reality Velociraptor was only 6 feet long, and not as tall as depicted in the film, in fact, the ones in the film were based off another dinosaur called Deinonychus. The real Velociraptor is also feathered and likely climbed trees where it would lunge down on prey from above with its sickle like foot claws.

[Dacentrurus Basic Facts
Stegosaurus may be the most famous Stegosaur, but it was not the first one to be discovered. That title would go to the English one named Dacentrurus. Dacentrurus was originally named Omnosaurus, but the name was already taken for a crocodilian. It was Closely related to the long necked Miragaia, though its neck does not match its length. It is also the largest of the Stegosaur, but several books claim it was smaller when it is incorrect. . Other fossils of this dinosaur were also found in Spain Portugal and in France were they were taken to the Le Havre Museum before it was destroyed in WWII.

Rhomalosaurus Basic Facts.
Rhomalosaurus was the largest Plesiosaur of the early Jurassic Period, and it was the top predator of its Ecosystem. It had a mouth full of Ferocious teeth that were capable of eating other marine reptiles and cephalopods. At the age of its Discovery it was named as a species of Plesiosaurus. Today there are four species of Rhomalosaurus and one of them was originally called Thaumatosaurus' There were at one time several other species but they all turned out to be different genera.

Laughing I've read somewhere that Romanosaurus was found often in Danish lakes and that the Danish flag was inspired in their eyes. However, a bizarre and fierce fish, native from a remote lake in Nintofte, swallowed them all. Now the reptiles are extinct. Wink Have you ever heard about this fish? affraid affraid
Now seriously, do you think a romanosaurus would be interested in living in your lake? flower Very Happy

Deinocheirus Basic Facts
What can be told from just a pair of arms? Well in Deinocheirus case, it could be a lot, or nothing. Its arms (and some other bones) are all that was found of this creature, and they appear to be those from an Ostrich like Ornithomime. However, the arms are incredibly huge! Arguably the largest arms of any dinosaur that’s been found. If this dinosaur was indeed an Ornithomime (as most scientists believe) then it would be the largest of them all.

(Update. 5-1-2014) As of November 2013, Deninocheirus identity has been revealed, and it was indeed a Huge Ornithomime, but it had something that put a twist to the whole group. On Deinocheirus back was a tall sail similar to that on Concavenator. After decades of speculation, one of the mystery's of the Mesozoic has been solved!
