The oryx could be Dinamiçao as Roger says, but I doubt if it could be Gulliver Br.

The Chialù porcupine was "inspired" by the Hausser one Wink

Not so hard to know Ricardo Very Happy  Luigi Chiappa (Chia-lu), bought the molds from the Confalonieri firm in the early 1950s. Confalonieri, founded in the 1930s, is a Milanese company known for having produced copies of the Lineol and Hausser models. Chialù stopped producing in 1967.

Yes Chritophe, thanks for the clarification! Smile
I know that Chialù has several Elastolin molds and some Lineol ones (as well as Neoform and Danolin translated Lineol pieces) but in the case of the porcupine I don't see it so evident if I look at images... In any case the composition figures are worthy of study (there are at least 4 edited volumes dedicated to these productions).

What volumes are you talking about ? bounce bounce bounce I know there is one book about Italian companies but I'm unable to find it. I have myself a book about Lineol and Susanne has the EXPENSIVE Hausser one.

Christophe, regarding the Italian brands you require at least two. A wonderful one by Raugei that collects everything from Chialù and Nardi (apparently a second volume with the rest of the Italian brands is in preparation but this will be in the -very- long term).
There is another book about Nardi Fratelli where a chapter is dedicated to the animal series.

On the German brands side, the main ones would be the two volumes dedicated to Lineol and Elastolin/Tipple Topple elaborated by U. Raue.
There are other books on figures or soldiers of the period but they are less relevant because they dedicate few pages to the subject of fauna.

And finally, regarding the Spanish brands, there is an amazing book that collects all the animal figures produced in Spain (Jecsan, Pech, Arcla, Lafredo, Marzia, Comansi, Oliver...) and another book dedicated to the history of the Jecsan brand that contains a chapter where the animal series are summarized.

Indeed, all of them are sold out and very hard (and very expensive) to find. But there is one that if you are interested we can talk and make a trade (write me privately pm or fb).

Ricardo I thought you were talking about 4 Italian books.

U. Raue books are so rare and expensive, I used to ask Susanne when I have a question, she has the one dedicated to Hausser.

I have the Lineol bilderbuch band 4 about animals wich is nice enough for me.

I also have the J. V. Riera book about Spanish brands.

For french brands I have the Clairet book, the Beffara book n°9 about Starlux zoo animals and the Tisné cahier about french alu and hollowcat animals.

I would be happy to find books about Italian and british zoo productions but Italians are nowhere to be found and I 'm affraid I have to give an arm for the English ones What a Face

At least 4 books of animals in general composition, not 4 Italian ones, of course...
Ok, if I find an extra copy of Andrea R's volume, I'll let you know.

The Dinamiçao oryx is fantastic! Though I wonder whether it is really the original paint.

And thanks for confirming that my ostrich is from The Nine Products.

This is one of my favorite topics...

After searching a long time for a warthog that seemed to be based on the PV and Yujin mold, I have found a lot with figures from the same series. There is no brand name, only the inscription on the belly of the animals... But it came with more surprises! The wildebeest calf (mold inspired by Schleich), the stork, the fawn...

The curious thing about these figures is the small variations (in the case of the warthog in the tail looking down and slightly on the legs). A few changes to avoid plagiarism?

Let's see if any member can provide more information about this colored figure... Have you got other figures of this collection, Caracal?

The crocodile of the Dinamização collection reads MOD DE PT 76
I believe it means modelo desenhado em Portugal 1976

It means model designed in Portugal

I calculated these figures as being from 1979 or 1980 so, it may be really the year they were designed. I will try to find more information.

Christophe, here are pictures of the unknown turtle (it is solid, heavy like a Schelich). But I don't have my Britains tortoise at hand to make the comparative photo, sorry.

Hello,
can anybody help to find the name of the producer and what animal it is?
The animal is only marked with a great "E"" and the material is weak plastic - nearly rubber.

I have these two, also rubbery and similarly marked but differently colored.
