My Toy Major animals

Hi!
I have decided to show you my own Toy Major animals. I am starting with my large ones: my Octopus, my Grey Whale and my Sperm Whale. They are marked "2002". They were part of a set sold in a bucket called "Ollie's Underwater Party" and other animals included hollow Knock-offs of AAA animals: manattee, lemon shark, walrus and female sea lion.

Taking note of it, Valérie! I'll take some time to introduce them on TAI but your additional information are an excellent complement to these pictures.

These four ones were found in a second hand store, a few days before Christmas 2016. I think they were originally from a set sold in a big plastic box in Toys'R'Us, among coral reefs and other animals. Am I right?

And here are two of my ver new ones: my Toy Major Domestic Sow and my Toy Major Seal (or is it a female sea lion?). They were found at the very same second hand store as the smaller sea Toy Major animals, but they were found last Thursday.

And here is last, but not least: my newly found Toy Major APATOSAURUS. Found in the local second hand store as well. Although, I have absolutely no idea of which set it belongs to. Also notice the damage on its neck; the previous owner seems to have played a little rough with it...

They are wonderful models. I am especially fond of the octopus ! He looks like he just thought of something important

I am happy that you show them, - we don't see TM wildlife here very often, - and I did not even know they had made dinos

I also figured out that my large Gecko Tokai is a Toy Major (it is marked "TM 1998").

Here is my Toy Major DILOPHOSAURUS. I looked Under its belly to see if it was from the same set as my Toy Major Apatosaurus (shown above). What I found was, my Apatosaurus is marked 2000, while my Dilophosaurus is marked 1999...

Valérie, before entering all these Toy Major on TAI, could you please check if your sea creatures are marked with a date and a letter? Maybe 1994? It may reply to your doubts and also help sorting everything.

Sea Lion: 2008.
Humpback Whale: 2010.
Whale Shark: 2010.
Bottlenose Dolphin: 2010.
Hammerhead Shark: 2010.
Gecko: 1998.
Apatosaurus: 2000.
Dilophosaurus: 1999.

Thanks for providing all dates Valerie! Toy Major is quite complex now and it is not easy to know how to group them propperly. As long as we acquire more information, we may be able of sorting things better as it is happening with Play Visions, for instance.
Except the seal thing, all others are already entered at Toy Animal Wiki.

Is it just me, or not that many members here own Toy Major pièces? I was pleased to see that my animals were already on TAI, but also a little perplexed to see not so many TM animals on the page... I thought the company made more than that!

Just "seal". This is why I'm not sure of the species either.

It seems earless and with very short foreflippers so I believe they didn't intend to make a sea lion or related. However, it may look anything once it is very toyish even considering the average Toy Major quality. A seal is more than enough, I think nobody will find an exact species.

We'll have to call it "Incertea sedis", then.
