| They are Kaiyodo, and aren't nearly as big as major brands. They fit in plastic eggs _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Yeah, that's the only problem with the large animals being not as big as the major brand counterparts _________________ [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] ADAM [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] "Our planet is in crisis. | Noemi, like Adam said, these are Kaiyodo CapsuleQ Museum WILD RUSH series. This set, which you showed is WILD RUSH 4. Our friend tjjtjjtjja showed to us with more detailde photos all 4 sets. you can see them here : [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]They are very small, like most Kaiyodo or Kitan models ..or like Eikoh . But so beautiful at the same time :) Also for example, the Tiger is the same size as Britains models .. |

| Thank You very much for the help! I'm really so sad because of their size. That Jaguar is fantastic, and there are some other among them which I like so much. |

| The tiger may seem small, but scale-wise, it is perfect for the elephants and giraffes made by the main modern companies such as Schleich, Safari and Papo. All are around 1:32-35 scale. The Wild Rush lion, zebra, polar bear, musk ox and reindeer have a similar scale too. It's just that the main companies make their smaller animals too large (or their larger animals too small, just how you want to see it).
I understand that these smaller models are not for everyone, but for me, it's fantastic that there are still companies that make smaller-scale models (even though unfortunately, Kaiyodo doesn't make them to scale either). |

| You are welcome Susanne and Noemi :) And yes, Roger is right, that the Tiger could work perfectly with some major brands models, like Elephants for example.. or the Lion, with the Giraffes...
But I also know, that Noemi prefer her models to be with the major brand size :) So yeah, unfortunately these are small. But still I am in love with them. The Otter for example is a perfect size :) And this Orangutan ... OMG, it is the most beautiful model I`ve seen :) |

| Does anyone know what brand this dog is? It was sold to me as Hausser Elastolin and it has a similar kind of style, but I haven’t found it in their catalogues. The model is completely painted, but on the underside of the base, you can see that the plastic is very shiny, different from Hausser Elastolin (sorry, I didn’t take a photo). And what dog breed is it? Perhaps a keeshond? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Rare to me also, - the breed could easily be one of the nordic farm breed, lovely, little spitzes also used as hunting dogs . For instance the Norwegian Buhund or the Swedish Lapphund? |

| This figure - we call her ''The Grandmother'' - stands 13 cm tall. We use her in photographs with a variety of animals. While she looks like a painted woodcarving, she is made from some kind of plaster or plaster mix. We would like to know where she comes from and what nationality she represents. Her book, with gilt-edged pages, may be intended as a prayer-book or Bible. Friends have suggested many different origins, from Breton to Polish. As STS brings together people from may nations, can anyone tell us more about her? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Sue & Lesley castlerigg |

| Thanks, Susanne!
We are sure she is a commercially made figure, and possibly quite old.

| Thanks for the comments. Yes, most likely a Spitz. The information I found doesn't mention that the Norwegian Buhund or Swedish Lapphund can be grey. A Keeshond/wolfspitz can be so that's why I thought it may be that one. |
