a more realistic scenario:

The dire wolves were once supposed to have been mainly necrophagous because of their huge teeths and powerful jaws, but we know now they also were active buffalos hunters!.. So,..

..now, dire wolves have killed a buffalo, behind low, grey wolves are waiting for the remains, and on the cliff, coyots are waiting for remains of remains!..

Buffalos can feed a lot of predators as your pictures can feed our eyes. Really great!
