Pleisto.. scenes!

For few days, Prettypapo follows the track of tired Oldschleich whose he would get the territory but this latter took him toward a narrow ledge..

..where he can face him and where the higher size of its opponant is rather a handicap ..

..but Prettypapo is'nt alone on the track of Oldschleich, a pack of cave hyenas had also noticed he was guetting old and weak!..

..hyenas want to take advantages of the situation and, shouting loud, attack Prettypapo who is obliged to face them..

..that makes Oldschleich charge..

..and push Prettypapo down the precipice!..

..where hyenas will have a good meal before night!

..And they won't be alone to the feast!..

Mr Grumpy is very happy, he is fat enough to spend the long and very cold winter in his shelter! So, singing, grumbling, making stones roll, he follows the way to his cave..

..but he is not alone on this way, a big carnivore is following him: Sir Leo, the cave lion!..

"look this stupide boy!.. if he wanted show me the way to his cave, he would do exactly what he is doing now!..

..but Mr Grumpy has a very good nose, even for a bear, and turns back:

"What a surprise!.. Sir Leo himself!..on my tracks!.. what a coincidence meeting you here!..

- Hi Mr Grumpy.. well.. with this cold coming night, I was looking for a good shelter.. and thought.. well,.. you maybe could indicate a good place to me..

oh, I see!.. I was just going to my cave but it's not too wide and is already occupied..

- but it would be just for this night for I have to go early in the morning..

-  If I could, it would be with a great pleasure but.. you've certainly heard about all these murders of cave bears during their hibernation sleeping.. we're afraid.. Do you remember this poor young bear devoured  in complete darkness  150 m from the entrance, last winter (true: Azé cave in France!).. I was called there to clear up this so sad affair.. and I found tracks in a less shady area, printed in the clay.. and these tracks, my dear Leo,.. they were YOURS!.. Since I come across them  in the whole countryside, I leave you to imagine how easily I recognize them!..

- Hum!.. well.. I wouldn't want to disturb you any longer,.. so I am going to look by myself..

- But look Sir Leo, let me present you my friend Mr Ripper and his cousin Mr Cruncher who have come to spend the winter with me!..

- Hello Mr Grumpy!.. it's so nice of you to have thought about our last hibernation dinner!" jokes Mr Cruncher..

Sir leo fears he has understood..  and tries to escape by the cliff..

..but it's completly impossible!..

"Come on Sir Leo!.. Since you have brought such beautiful steaks, ribs, and ham,.. come on in!.. I promise you will feel the cold no more!" suggest Mr Ripper.


..And so ended Sir Leo, who was using sleeping cave bears as "stock" to survive during the hard pleistocene winter!..

Papo cave bear is a very scenic figure and you used it in the best way. I think the Southlands Diprotodon could work nicely too.
