| Does anyone know what the mystery figures are? (In my previous post!) And I have realised that the mystery Schleich piglet that Schleich sent to me with the catalogue is a figure that is currently I think only found in their vet care playset after looking at their catalogue, and I don't think it's in the TAW, so I've taken a clearer photo of it ! : [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

It looks like a potbelly piglet, but I can't help with ID. Nice figure though, cutesy works for it!

It definitely does, following on with a similar style to their other recent piglets! And thanks for letting me know the breed, that definitely fits! But still not sure about the pig and two sheep - I'm sure someone will know!

We have a thread on forum where you can put closer pictures of these models you don’t know the brand and who knows, someday someone find it. Obviously there isn’t anything wrong that you ask here. I enjoy the array of brands and I think sheep are important for a dog collector, they work nicely with some dog breeds. What’s really your doubt about AAA sheep? I am not sure I am getting it. Congratulaations also for your special Schleich pig. I hope Susanne or any other TAW editor can use your picture once I won’t be able of doing it for a long time.

Thank you so much Roger! Yes, that's a good idea, if no ones here knows I'll put clearer photos on the thread for the mystery animals! And I definitely agree, sheep go very well with dogs- there are many herding breeds! With the AAA sheep, I wasn't sure whether it was a goat or a sheep- as I just looked on TAW and there it is a labelled as a 'goat kid playing' - so it probably is a goat! But I'm sure it's happy to join the sheep...

I think your piglet is from the horribly expensive Schleich farm ( look at the hay loft ) It is mirrored in the picture, but that sometimes happens [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I HATE that farm !!! Look , there is also a Beagle and a rat But at least, if you agree, we now have the piglet for TAW

Oh yes of course! Thank you Susanne! And I completely agree, that Schleich farm - it cost so much but because of the beagle, there was no choice but to have to get it! That must be where it's from, although I'm now confused because I thought Schleich sent it to me - maybe I have another piglet somewhere! I can also take a photo of the rat if you want for TAW Schleich always bring out these huge sets for such unreasonable prices- the animals in them are always so small so it really isn't worth it! Unless of course there is a dog, then I have to save up...

You have the BEAGLE ????? And the RAT ????? How wonderful Yes, yes, please, I would love to enter those pictures in TAW Do you still have the box ? I like to have pictures of the boxes , as it may be of interest to people looking for the model. We can not use pictures from the catalogues, - Schleich would get after us with fire and hell, and lawyers and what-not Yes, - it is so irritating with those large sets ! Also the Advent calendars ! The first years I got them for the "exclusive" models...and then next year they sold the exclusive as standard Now I do not buy those calendars anymore, and of course they have stopped making the specials as standard

Of course, I've just taken a photo of the Beagle and Rat, and I'll have to try and dig out the box later- I know it's around here somewhere! And I'll post it here when I do find it! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]It's so silly how Schleich don't let you use photos from their catalogues- it's advertising their products anyway so I thought they would want that! Oh and those advent calendars! - each year now they just repaint one of their dogs and then sell it for way too much! And then any dog collector has to go and buy the whole thing! It's the same with two of their sets this year (I think I've already told you!) but that teeny tiny chihuahua painted white in that whole horse carriage set ! And of course, so annoying where they say 'exclusive', then release as standard and then stop making the specials standard! Sometimes I wonder whether I should just wait a few years for when these exclusive models start turning up as unwanted toy bundles on Ebay...

Thankyou ever so much for the pictures Please, how large are they ? I am so sorry, I should have said it was a good idea to put a comparing item - like a lego block or such - beside them. Your pictures are so great that somebody may think the models are much larger . ...well, in this case, if you can find the box, a picture of the farm would solve it, of course

Oh, I didn’t know your Lego bricks were soooooo huge! :afraid: I’m kidding, I was not expecting these figures to be so small. It makes sense they are once they belong to a farm where animals are usually made to look reasonably in scale with each other. Also thanks to you and Susanne for working together to put this set on TAW, I am sure not many members have it so that’s a chance we can’t miss.

Is this about my figures or Paige's? If it's about mine I definitely agree, as with lots of Schleich these days they seem to get smaller... and smaller So VERY big Lego bricks! And I'm so glad it will be useful to collectors!

Bonnie, it was really about your topic. Thanks for finding my lost post. Unfortunately I use to do this kind of mistakes when posting from my mobile phone. It is not easy for a blind croc to use such a smal display and my snout do not let me use the mobile phone as close of my eyes as I wished. The touch screen is also not very practical when we have big claws. Well, it at least allowed me to performe a little moderation task and it is using that we get more confortable with things.

Thank you so much Kosta! And I'm so glad that you liked the Schleich models, and I definitely agree the beagle is very nice (But definitely so annoying that Schleich had to put it in such a HUGE set!) Yes very large Lego bricks- I should use them to build my house! And you made me laugh so so much, and of course, Roger as well makes me laugh so much too!! How lucky we are to have such a funny croc and Kosta on forum!

| Next up my collection of cows! I mostly have Britains and Schleich, although there is an AAA calf far right on the second row, and bottom right an Animal Hospital and Jungle in my Pocket cow. There are a few unknowns, but I think they're mostly made in China models- although I can't be sure! I have always loved Schleich cows, I think the anatomical details are always very good and among some of Schleich's other more disappoiting figures, they do stand out! I have many Britains animals, and I do love them as these are what I mostly grew up with, but generally the sculpts are good and the paintwork not so good! But my favourite has to be the Highland cow, and I used to have a bull with an actual ring around its nose which I always loved- Britains always surprises me with details like that! Here they are, and as always if any photos are needed for TAW please say! | And I'll try and find the box too Susanne- I know where it is but it's in a cupboard of other boxes... so if I move one box from the tower... the whole lot will come falling down! But if I can't find it I have a couple of photos of the farm from two angles, which I'll post here! |

Is it Bonnie’s topic? I hope so! I don’t know how to convince Kosta that my mistakes are genuine. Also, if noone make mistakes, what’s the use of an Admin? I love Schleich cattle and also Britains cattle. Both brands were remarkable for their corresponding generations and I believe cattle is very important for the success of a company. They are important actors on farm themed toys. In addition, farm subject allows loads of possibilities and even the extension of the range with buildings and multiple accessories.
