I agree that the poor cats are deformed, with their smashed in faces causing so many health problems. But as far as the figures go, the Exotic shorthair figure is easily recognizable as that breed, and therefore a good model despite my feelings about the breed. |

- It's reminding me a bit of the reveals from the last year, where we only got some interesting figurines in the last batch. But indeed, I'm not expecting much of CollectA anymore, as it seem like they changed the focus on horses and dinosaurs now, at least it's good to remember that we had some great years.
Dinosaurs are ok, especially uncommon species. A lot of horse collectors think that it is OK too, but sadly neither of these are my priorities. So I'm a bit sad to see this evolution in the last few years, but time has changed. |

| True! Nothing new! And the worst part is that bovines are lost in history... I expect that CollectA releases at least one new bovine, either Gayal, Domestic water buffalo, yak or banteng... |

| This Gayal pic would make a great base for a CollectA figure between this and next year... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| I really don't know what to think about the repainted version of the Red Kangaroo, the model still looks very outdated and the painting isn't very realist either. Too bad! Let's see what the last batch will bring, but I'm really expecting a Rhino and Hippo calf. The baby gorilla looks lovely, how small will it be? |
