Do you have a photo or link where it goes into more detail with other animals? HERE I didn't know it was highly sought after by collectors. I hope to find that buffalo for my collection |

| Does anyone recognise these very small cetaceans? They are marked CHINA. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And this toob-sized gorilla? I think I bought it as "Wild Republic" from Andreas's shop, but it isn't marked and I don't see it on TAW. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Any idea? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]*I believe that the dromedary and the chimp are not French, maybe Sotorres (Spain), since this brand replicated molds of the Clairet brand. |

| The monkey is from Starlux (with a tree and a second one) and the dromedary is from Clairet. |

*I believe that the dromedary and the chimp are not French, maybe Sotorres (Spain), since this brand replicated molds of the Clairet brand. The ape is a Starlux copy made by Sottores, the Dromedary looks really like a Clairet, the Lioness is a Charbens so I guess the tiger too. Big congratulation |

| Found this guy in an ebay lot recently. Made of cheaper material but not quite a "chinamal" grade. Its marked zebra shark, china, and the number 1 on its fin. Any ideas? | Apropos of one of Christophe's last posts, about a small plastic rhinoceros, I share two examples of the many that exist regarding figures extracted from Britains and Marx molds that have been sold in Made in Hong Kong Zoo bags... In the image of the wild boars there are some Prior, but other than that, I have no further information. And nothing in the case of the wolves... Can anyone shed some light on this subject? | I guess it would be hard to discover the brand behind each of them. HK was the copycat and knocks-off realm of the 20th century. The way to recognise some IMHO is to find a brand engraved on the toy like Prior, Rena, Lesieur which were mad eby InjectA plastic in Macau. The others are the RAE made in HK. The only other way is to find them in sealed plastic bag like my Floraline rhino, of course it only means we know the brands which used them as premiums, not the real manufacturer. By the way, those are very interresting monochromatic figures, where did you find them ? I remeber having the hyena painted years ago [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Pulling the thread in some Brazilian collecting pages, among Gullivers and other similar ones. I have some saved (the hyena, the tiger and some other felines that do not appear in the image), but I never knew the origin.... |

| About the wild boars inspired by the Britains one, the first reddish on the top left is from "Singapore" then I can see 3 Prior/injecta-plastic..
About the wolves inspired by the Britains one, the big one, grey and reddish on top left, is from Punch in France, the black one just below is from Blue Box and inspired from the previous one for he has a tongue. The little brown and white on top right is from Britains and he has no tongue. I also have many little red ones like the fourth on left but I don't know the brand.. I don't know the other ones. |
