The poses are not the same. And there exists no unlimited horse poses, you should know. Sometimes is it nearly the same, but this ist not end of the world.
Stop searching missing and only in your brain existing mistakes from Schleich, this ist annoying.
A family don't do that. |

A family don't do that. Paka, here in our family we say what we think always in a correct way. When someone I love a lot do something wrong I am the first telling to this person that he did wrong! This is honesty and love! If you cannot accept a different opinion from yours your defeat blindly something that you love, you will be not honest with yourself and to be the first to contribute to degrade what you really love! Sometimes we awake too late! All this people you see posting here, even those not happy with new Schleich, love the brand as much as you do but in a more mature way! How can you explain such a participative topic??? Silvia is a wise member, very friendly and a real expert in horses. I agree with her! :) Remember, you are always welcome but please be friendly with everybody because nobody is ofending you, only being honest with a brand that almost everybody loves! |

| Well, I asked myself if I would give my two cents here or not... I will ! I don't participate this year in the SCHLEICH 2012 topic because I thought I already shared my ideas in the SCHLEICH 2011 topic. Since my mind is nearly the same I stayed quite. I can understand a SCHLEICH worshipper could think that "cry babies" and critiques about new releases are very boring every year... It is at least as boring as blind veneration and " SCHLEICH is better because... SCHLEICH is better". Last year, I discussed hardly my point with some of us and it was very interresting, profound and sharp... but always friendly ! We are more than 300 here, some are great SCHLEICH collectors and lovers. As Roger said it is a brand that almost everybody loves! You know I'm not often in the almost... But it doesn't matter There is enough place for all of us here and we have to be friendly together because... For the rest of the world we are all strange minded person with a very boring hobby So, please, let the Schleich 2012 a BIG and welcome topic and not a desert fightclub It's time to stop the dispute my boring fellows... Cheers, Your so boring crazy macaque |

| Very well stated Roger and Christophe!!!!!!!! Your points are excellent. It is ok to disagree but not to attack someone personally for their decisions. Long live a friendly STS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| I think that the Schleich look just a little too glossy/shiny. Otherwise they would be fine. |

They should be a bit more original, uh?
I also noticed the similarities between schleich's new camargue horse and the older collecta mustang. They are very similar! One would have thought they could have been a bit more original than that. However, the other new horse and the lippizzaner mare I don't think are that odd. It's just a normal walking horse and a walking horse is a walking horse and they are bound to look almost the same. Can't decide whether I am very disappointed or just a little bit disappointed in the new models for next year. I suppose it will be easier to make up my mind once I have the models in my hand. It's a shame there aren't any new breeds. |

| Well there might be, the trained horse could be a different breed, but then again probably not. |

Mm, could be, I suppose, I had not really thought about it that way. But we'll never know what breed it's supposed to be. Just one of those unspecified horses that schleich seems to like to make once in a while |

| I know there could be similar poses, that´s obvious... But I also think that a bit of originality is not bad! Walking horses can be done in different poses :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Anyway, as I said, I like the 2012 horses. - Paka wrote:

| I think everyone can decide what breed the trained horse is this It would be nice. I just had an idea (well, a few days ago actually), about this mysterious trained horse. I say mysterious because I was wondering what a trained horse could mean. And he's wearing those boots. Bullyland made a lungeing set last year (or was it the year before that?) So, what if Schleich is also doing a lungeing set around this trained horse? After all, lungeing is one way of training a horse. And a horse would have to wear boots to be lunged. This is just a wild guess, but what do you other horse people think about this? |

| About the wrapped horse, I think (and hope) that it can be like the hannover mare 13296 [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] She wears wraps and she didn´t come in a pack. And his breed... I haven´t thought about it, but it reminds me some English breeds, maybe a kind of Welsh pony (Welsh, Welsh Mountain or Welsh Cob). Anyway I need to know the size comparison with other Schleich horses to decide his breed :) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

Anyway I need to know the size comparison with other Schleich horses to decide his breed :) My opinion is that the wrapped horse´s breed is a quarter horse, because the wraps are western riding protectors which are used in westernhorse training when they train spins etc. :) _________________ Schleich Horse Repainting by me!
