| Those protectors seems to me to be normal ones, those you put on your horse when jumping, taking a lesson or anything else to avoid the legs being hurt with the horseshoes of the other leg :) We had some similar to those in the equestrian center when I took my lessons and nobody there did western. But you could be right, of course ^^ _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

Such horse is called grade horse - I was thinking the same, who said that every horse model has to be of pure breed _________________ ~Magda (formerly Mangalarga) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Blog | Facebook |

| I don't like breyer. This horses looks like barbie horses, to big, hollow inside and plastic made in china. I stay to Schleich and similar companys. |

| To me, it looks like a field ornament. A horse that doesn't particularly have a job or one that no one knows it's breed.
I like it though and can't wait to get it :) Depending on it's size, could be a nice little pony. |

| No, it isn´t the first Schleich horse with angry / nervous ears: [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]:) _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

| However, the other new horse and the lippizzaner mare I don't think are that odd. It's just a normal walking horse and a walking horse is
a walking horse and they are bound to look almost the same. Can't decide whether I am very disappointed or just a little bit disappointed in the new models for next year. I suppose it will be easier to make up my mind once I have the models in my hand. It's a shame there aren't any new breeds.[/quote]
the lipizana mare looks exactly the same! |

:) Thanks for telling Silvia, I didn't know that one :) However to me this bay one looks like something scared her, and she run away. But it's just impression, of course, ears are in the same position in both examples |

| I don´t think this mare is scared, the face doesn´t look to have a scared expression. It reminds me more to horses who are galloping and other horse tries to run faster xD They put ears down and pucker the nostril and mouth a bit :) When they are scared they open a lot the nostrils. -------- I´m sure I will change some breeds for my 2012 horses when I get them! But in order to decide which breeds, I have to take them, touch them, see them from all the angles and compare sizes with the other horses _________________ Visit my collection gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Visit my art gallery at [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I accept commissions! |

It's hard to tell really from this picture, but my immediate reaction was that the new horse's back legs are further apart and his front legs are closer together than those of the lippizzaner mare. But that's just my impression and it's impossible to tell from this angle what he really looks like. I agree the positioning of the legs is pretty similar, but I don't think they look exactly the same :) If that makes any sense |

| As far as i could see, very very disappointing so far! The male gorilla seems ok, the panda could be good, but that is all! The polarbears are awefull, really! It looks if they have new sculptors, who never saw an animal in real life or so... Good news for Mojo, which i will promote in many ways in the future anyway, and when Schleich continues this way, they will loose ground very quickly anyway! I am not interested in horses and farmlife anyway... But i know that the horses are the biggest market for Schleich, so that was obvious. But bad news for wildlife collectors so far!

I agree the positioning of the legs is pretty similar, but I don't think they look exactly the same :) If that makes any sense yes it makes sense but I think that that is just the camera angle, or maby its just a pesranol thing? xx :) |

Jup :) But i think we'll have to wait till next year for that. If they should make a new set, they probally retired an old set, but they didn't. So yeah, i think we can expect a new set in 2013 :) |
