And what are the chances to see them made by Schleich in 2012? What do you think? _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| I just found this picture off the MPV forum - could it be a 2012 Falcon? I'm not sure if it's just a repaint, but I don't recognise the model the photo is pretty bad [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

And what are the chances to see them made by Schleich in 2012? What do you think? BUT maybe there is a chance that they are made by someone else? How happy would you be if they did all come out in 2012? Or would I be the only one? |

Very interesting! I haven't seen this model among the retired Schleichs... _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

It would be cool if Schleich made these ungulates, no doubt! Although, I would prefer tree-dwelling species, monkeys and parrots for example... _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| Well, again like always, there is a wishlist, and what comes eventually... I like to be realistic, so i think that the next animals will appear in 2012: Some horses and farmlife like always, as they are the biggest income for Schleich. 1-3 Dogs breeds, in families or not. Hopefully and finally a austrich female Female kudu Female Cape buffalo Finally a new hippo family I hope a new African elephant family in a bigger scale, same for the Asian elephants Yak female and calf maybe The last tigers were not populair, so maybe new tigers New polarbear male, as they want to expand their polarlife.(standing position like the old one again) So there are some possibilities as mentioned before: Snowy owl Reinderfamily or karibu-family New beluga's and narwhals hopefully Leopard seal, or any artic seal This is all i can guess realisticly seen... |

You know, I see nothing outstanding in this figurine. It looks like peregrine falcon, and there are two peregrines at the market already - by Collecta and Bullyland. If Schleich made any other bird of prey apart from traditional bald eagles and peregrines... Even a golden eagle would be very nice. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! This is all i can guess realisticly seen... It all sounds logical. But remember last year - we'd been expecting to see female ostrich, tapir calf and other family extensions (we might have predicted it after seeing leopard and jaguar cubs in 2010). But none of those came. _________________ Owners of miniature zoos on shelves, unite! My collector's blog

| What about a Cassowary, Rhea or Emu? I love Emus. I used to work with an Emu named Ralph, and he was the silliest thing. _________________ carolynn

[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] The last bird from Schleich birds of prey series desapeared only last year. In 2011 it was replaced for another bald eagle, the silver wings! The wing spread bald eagle was the only survivor from the old series and remember it was the only with open wings! The remaining had a short life! Reading some comments and seeing the catalogue it looks Schleich is starting a kind of new birds of prey series but this time introduced in regular wild life. Schleich had before a peregrine falcon but now is probabily trying with open wings like the Bullyland! I believe it is a Schleich but in an early stage of the paintwork. The falcon choice is obvious since we are talking about Schleich and this bird is turning very popular again. My predictions are very similar to those from Willy! It's incredible but I was also thinking in a reindeer and a standing polar like the old one! Maybe we are wrong but is always easy to be wrong! |

| Hello, I'm new here to this forum and I just hope schleich comes out with new farm animals like for instance goats. Papo's are great but those are the only good models of gpats out there so I think and hope that schleich will come out with some breed of goats. Also I think there will be new breeds of horses just because they've made them every year. Thank You, Tyler Loew |
