| Well Phil, Isaiah Thomas and Allen Iverson are both stands 6'1" only, if I am not mistaken. But when they were at their peaks, they were playing better than the real giants itself the way they dominate the games and the way they thread the basket. And who will forget Spud Webb? He is merely 5'6" or 5'7" only but once a Slam Dunk Champion also. |

| Thanks, Willy. Ronald, thanks for the trip down NBA memory lane. Too bad the Lakers didn't get Chris Paul, but you know David Stern, little man that he is, has to control anything and everything in normal times, and as one NBA owner was anonymously quoted as saying after Stern quashed the CP3 to Lakers trade, "Right now, he's drunk on power." Short point-guards? Also, Muggsy Bogues and my personal favorite, Earl Boykins. Alan Iverson [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Isiah Thomas [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Spud Webb [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Muggsy Bogues [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Earl Boykins [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Also, let's not forget the great boxer, Manny Pacquiao, who checks in at 5' 6.5", but is pound-for-pound, one of the best boxers at any weight in recent history. Here he is pictured with Kobe, but in real-life, he's a die-hard Celtics fan... :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| I actually moved my support to the South Beach since last year. :) Too bad, The Mavs has all the arsenal to beat them in the Finals. Of course, Pac-Man is a die hard Celtic fan and he is very open about it. Speaking of Mugsy, I liked him when he used to play for the Hornets. |

I see, so like LeBron, you found yourself "taking my talents to South Beach..."?! Why? What was so wrong with the Lakers? I thought LeBron and Dwayne were badly exposed in the Finals, but I have a lot of respect for Chris Bosh, who didn't crumble under the pressure. Maybe this year they will step up and claim the title, but I wouldn't bet the farm on it. IMHO, the Bulls are the team I believe will hoist the Championship trophy at the end of this season. |

I am always a big fan of Lebron and D-Wade. So, when the two united together with Chris Bosh in Miami? I also followed the Heat as well. Unfortunately, Lebron, unlike MJ and Kobe, can't take the pressure especially when the game is on the line. Hopefully, with the addition of Shane Battier, they will improve this year. But again, the center position is always their biggest problem. Lakers? I think they are not the same team after they loss Trevor Ariza two years ago. Although Ron Artest was the hero of their second championship against the Celtics, they are still not as balance when Ariza was still around. And Ron Artest is not the same guy last season as compared to his first year. Bulls? Of course, they are supposedly the strongest team in the East. But then, they are lack of some veteran's experience to lead them. Somehow they just collapsed against the Heat in the Eastern Finals last season and Carlos Boozer didn't really help them that much. Well, D-Rose is a year more matured now. If he maintain his health in good form plus the addition of Rip Hamilton (provided he's healthy as well), they are the team to beat in the East and probably in the Championship too. |

| Nice sets Phil, nothing for me anymore, as i sold all of my horses... But i am still thinking of making a big herd of the famous pinto if i can find them for reasonable prices... I think, that is a good investment for the future... |

| Thanks, Willy. The superpinto has been less expensive recently on auction, but it still costs a lot of money. Maybe you can find of bag of brand new ones at a flea market in Netherlands sometime. I don't really go to any here where I reside because they are all in the summer and I can't survive too long in 100 degrees F. heat (38 degrees C.). I do regularly visit antique shops, here and in San Francisco in the hope that I might "catch lightning in a bottle" and find something incredible, like a full set of WWF's... |

| I am planning to go to fleamarkets always, but actually i never do. The chace to find realatively undamaged Schleich there is quit slim anyway, always that cheap China stuff and so on. I love the heat of the summer, so that is no problem for me at all, i hate cold and rain on the opposite. In this time of year, i never go out of the door if not neccesary... But it would be nice to find something special on those fleamarkets or in antique stores or so! |

| Here is a figurine I know nothing about, except that it is a promotional Schleich item loosely based on the 14006 Alt Grosse Serie Elephant (it also harkens back to an AAA Baby Elephant figurine, perhaps): [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Congratulations Phil on your finds! Good idea to gather the horse sets now, I wasn't really interested in them but I did like the racing set and managed to get two for an incredibly cheap price. One was mint in it's box the other loose but in perfect condition. _________________ Harriet My *Collection* My *Handmade Animal Sculpture*

Thanks, Harriet. I looked up about two weeks ago and realized that I need all five of these sets. 42046 and 42047 are hard to find now online. There may one more of these available at a local toy store if anyone is desperate and cannot locate some. Seeing them up close, in real-time, they are even more impressive. Good work to get the racing set; it's also lovely. |

Was the superpinto variation ever available in USA shops? I wonder if I would ever be so lucky to find one by chance or will I have to buy one from overseas Ebay? -Kristie |
