My garden is getting "wilder," but here that means bugs, birds, and lizards, which i'm no good at getting photos of.
of course i couldn't get a photo, but I was thrilled to surprize a lizard in my garden the other day. i haven't seen one in a while. my biggest lizard commited suicide last spring by running in front of my car when i drove in. I cried when i saw her there in the driveway. She's buried beneath one of the roses.
but i do have lots and lots of bees. i love bees.

A couple of years ago I found a tiny (and I mean tiny!) newt in the garden - I've never seen one since though. We took some pictures of it, I'll have to see if I can find them.

One year I bought seeds of BLACK tomatoes, - they were huge, and they were really almost black
Unfortunately they tasted like cottonwool

Ohh your wonderful flock of tame and trusting ducks, - they all shine with good health. It is easy to see you are looking extremely well after them

Fortuntely the ducks don't like tomatoes

The type of tomato is called Alicante, I find they are really nice. The little ones you can see in the picture are from another plant called 'Tiny Tim', it's one you grow in a hanging basket and the fruit hang down on the vines.
Black tomatoes, they sound interesting, shame they didn't taste very nice though!

I also love birds, the sparrow picture is my favourite! Some Institutes make bird watching events! Nice you can see the beautiness of an animal even if it is very common!

Oh oh! The hedgehog baby is soooooo cute!!!!! Fabulous photos and he didn't run away, he is just adorable.

And your new repaints look beautiful, I especially like the first one, the glossy hooves

About the hedgehog, I am afraid he needs your help badly.
A hedgehog that small being out in daylight has probably lost his mom and is not yet able to fend for himself .

If you can find him again, take him indoors, put him in a large cardboard box, and feed him kitten-food and water. NO MILK !

Perhaps you can look on the net for help.
Here in Denmark there is an association for helping hedgehogs, - so many mother-hedgehogs get killed in the traffic, and the babies have to weigh app 1,5 kg before they can manage without their mother.

But hurry, he is very vulnerable, any stray dog can hurt him or kill hom, he can`t yet defend himself !

The Hedgehog is very cute but as said, it is either ill or lost it's mother or the other hoglets. I hope it has found them again.
Feeding them kitten food and water is correct, not milk and bread !

I think it is a little early for 2012 yet.
