The price stays much to high i think, minimum 175 euro for a pinto, now that is to expensive, for a model which was made in quit a few numbers...

IMHO, the Schleich rare Pinto is just another over rated Schleich old figure. I simply won't spend so much just to get it because it's not practical at all.

The more people are eager to get it, the more it will become pricey. I can already buy 30 new Schleich or even the new better quality CollectA horses for the price of 200 plus Euros.

Well, that's only my opinion.

I talked with Norbert Gneiding of Schleich about this model, there are far more then the 200 that was said by many people!
They are made in the thousands too...
Although, they might be quit rarer, as they are only produced for one year.
So 176 euro for that last one, which is still much to high for it....

Susanne, Marktplaats is a Dutch auction site. Once you've registered, you can submit bids on auction items, which are received, along with all other bids by all bidders, by the seller. When the seller receives a bid he/she is satisfied with, then that bid is accepted as the winning one.

I know the seller.
He knows exact the noun of the horses and would only sell when he could get a very good prize.
I think in the past he has sold mor figurenes then you have susanne.
And i know, that you have many.
In my collection there are some figurines from him, wich i bought, when is started to collect.

Yes, I do have many (though not as many as you or Torben or others ), but it always breaks my heart to sell a figuere, so I avoid doubles if I can

I also avid to have doubles... Even when I buy one to repaint it, is a strange feeling.

Yes, these auctions can go on for seemingly.....forever!!! Because of the way these auctions are conducted, it's unlikely that you can get a bargain price for a rare item.

Yes, Willy, we know this quandry well - it's that nasty condition known as "human existence"... For every hundred auctions I mark, I probably bid, on average, on ONE of them, so I'm now used to watching the lovely figurines pass me by. Not such a bad thing, though, as it teaches us the value of self-discipline, something I know you understand well from your martial arts training, etc.

This seller auctioning off all of these rarities must have a spectacular collection...
