Thanks Carolynn! I have plans for this model, although he looks lovely, I wasn't 100% impressed with the paintwork, so in the near future I plan to have him repainted to look more like Hickstead.

Harriet, this horse as a divinal sculpting, I know you've made the right choice even without knowing the other figure!
Pictures are really tempting even for a not horse collector and although it would be not a good idea for a purist we know that under your hands the figure will turn much better painted!

ha! Thank you Roger You already have some breyer horses don't you? You realise you're already doomed to collect more then maybe traditional scale is a bit too big though

I won't be repainting it myself, I hope to get someone else to do it - it will be the perfect job for her hands and I know she would do a much better job than I could ever do.

Thanks Carolynn! Glad you like the backdrop on the indoor photos, I haven't any paper large enough for them to fit on without tail or ears sticking out the top or sides lol - so I had to use one of my scarves instead, I hoped it was too busier pattern!

Could someone tell me who sculpted GG Valentine? Are there any others by this artist? Did this sculptor also do the new Haflinger?

All three were sculpted by Brigitte Eberl. She also sculpted Alborozo (limited and discontinued, therefore very expensive now), Salinero, Weather Girl, resin Andalusian, resin Totilas, and upcoming Kalakhaari and Traditional Totilas.
