They look like the kind of things that children will buy for Grandma at christmas

Sometimes you can´t avoid to get an very ugly figure, for example in a lot.
Here is my absolutely ugliest figure. These no name gorilla is only still in my collection because the figure is hiding in a box with double figures.

I love this topic. To me it is obvious, a camel has two humps, if it as one it is a dromedary and if it has none, it is a llama. That's the family rule taken more seriously than ever. Actually I like the artistic style of the figure. I also enjoy the feline touch of this seal. They doesn't look like anything I've seen before, they are very special.

That seal reminds me of a childhood Australian shepherd, who was tubby and often lay down with her rear legs kicked back- only with broken forelegs.

Ha! What goofy lookin critters. I've seen paintings like these where the artist clearly didnt know what a cat etc.

It's sad that many pictures of this topic have already disappeared. I would be nice to be able to see them again.

They're not the prettiest, nor the most carefully painted, but for some reason or another they have a place in your heart.

For me it's my collection of toy major trading co. dragons

They're just generic old spray painted dragons from some cheapo megafactory somewhere, and there's no shortage of brands that make beautiful, detailed figures, but I've held onto these since I was very young and I've grown attached to their ugly mugs. In fact, since learning what brand made them, I've considered buying even more (secondhand, seems they're no longer made)

This photo is a few years old, but they're in storage right now. These are the ones I managed to keep. I did give away one to some snotty kid when I was young though, and i still regret it.

I enjoy when people loves this kind of models. About your Toy Major dragons, if they are marked as the wild animals, you will probably find next to the year, a letter A... B... C..., etc. It happens because Toy Major uses to release series of 8 or 12 models of a certain subject every year. Try to check it and it will help you to locate models that are missing.

Aw, I love charmingly weird looking guys! Those are some wonderful old dragons, I'm so glad you still have most of them with their nostalgia in tact. I hope you can find a replacement for the missing one someday.

I think a lot of my collection technically qualifies for this topic, but I thought of Bat Cat first, the best example I have of what I've come to call Gremlin Cats, little weird cat figures that I can't get enough of.

I love those cats- did Murder Cat come from a set that looks like this by chance? Kicking around somewhere I have cats from this set as well from my childhood. It seems like they're brandless and a lot of sites sell a version of them, but I'm fairly sure mine came from a dollar store capsule vending machine in the mid 2000s, so I think we have the same one!

nice animals, I have this pony “Insel Mainau”. When you look through you can see……yeah…the isle mainau.  And I like these funny squirrels. They are wood animals from the German Erzgebirge.
