The shape and colour somehow make me think of a Egyptian hieroglyph.

Aww, it has something from ancient art in him, especially huge eyes and stylised tail. Perhaps a bit like in mesopotamian art or even bronze age figures?

that is a truly awful Tsintaosaurus. Surely someone at CollectA must have seen that, before it was going to be released, and thought 'uh oh'.

Haha, I remember that before it was released I was really excited that some company is going to make a tsintaosaurus. Because I like all hadrosaurs. But when I saw the final product... I was like "Uuunn, maybe not." :'D And I still don't own that figure.
