Susanne's Papo additions!

Look, see, The wonderful English thoruoghbred mare with a blaze, that Harriet gave me, got a foal today

Untill now the tvo variants have shared one foal, now they have one each, and the foals have got a playmate



Isn`t it a lovely, little flock ?


Some of you may remember I was looking everywhere for the mare with the blaze, but could not find her, - and then Harriet gave me hers

Harriet is certainly also an angel without wings

I hope it was not a hard birth! :) I can see the foal is learning walking very fast! It is a beautiful flock, congratulations!

No, it did not seem to be a hard birth , even if the foal is just as big as the much older one

At last I got the wonderful lioness carrying her newborne kitten  

And her big brothers and - ( or sisters ? ) also! They are just so incredibly cute  Yipeeeee      



As somebody wrote a few days ago, it is strange how one can really want a figuere, and then end up buying something else. What goes on in the brain ?    

But now I have these 3 wonderful figueres. The young lioness will surely have to come next, I hope

I never bought the old lion cub, mainly because I didn't like it's opened mouth - but compared to the new ones would you say he isn't as realistic?
Glad the weather is brightening up for you - it's really warm here, but dark and windy!

I think the old lion cub is very realistic and beautyful, hissing his little baby-hiss at whatever upset him
The paintwork, however...hmmmm But that is not his fault

Yes, thankyou Harriet, the weather gave us a short break from the eternal rain. I have never ever experienced a "summer" like this.
The poor farmers can just stand and watch a whole years`s income rot away in the fields, they cant drive there with the machines, it is knee-deep mud. I feel SO sorry for them, a lot of them are probably going bankrupt, loosing both their home and job
I would never have nerves to be a farmer

Oh, Susanne! You have almost completed the Papo lions pride! It is a really outstanding group of figures and I love them! I also suggest them to Kristie ! Wonderful!

And two of them were some of the very first Papos I got, - and I got them from you, Roger

The only minus is, that they now stand much too crammed together on my shelf.
After all it was supposed to be my "Show-shelf" and not my "squeeze-shelf"
I have to make the heartbreaking decition and pack some of my papos away to give room for them



Look, they stand so close they are beginning to fight
And there is certainly not room for teenage-sister when she comes home from her partying in in a shop some day

Papo figures are fighters! No problem at all. I'm proud of introducing you to the world of Papo figures and help your Spanish bull not being alone! It's a hard decision to choose which ones to pack but the roaring male lion will be one of them because he looks not very happy! :)

Sergey, thanks for showing a very important picture that helped me a lot choosing my lions! It's wonderful your display!

I love that lioness with the cub in her mouth. I think is one of the most realistic lioness figurines made by Papo, Safari or Schleich :)

is the lioness with cube a new colour & look different from mine(slightly).

My eternal problem, I never want to pack any figueres away

Sergey, your Lions are fantastic, - and I like the fact that you have just one white male in the flock.
It is very realistic as white lions are so rare ( mutation perhaps?) and not a special species, as my niece thinks .
Those white ones are great, but the children think they are a special breed. My niece happily told me that she had got a Siberian tiger from Schleich, because it was white

Silvia, I love her also ! I love all the Papo big cats. Hmmm, the lynx and puma are perhaps not their best figueres But I love them also

Ken, yes, she is darker than the other lions in my flock - Sergey has both as far as I can see
