Ah, let me tell you and Kristie that I also love pigs: wild boars, warthogs, red river hogs, babirusas, etc., etc.

I was aware of the declining numbers of lions in Africa already for some years, and it shocked me, as it was the last cat, from which you would aspect to slowly vanish in the wild...
We already knew about the Barbary- and Cape-lions which are extinct already, and the Asian lions of course.
Although they say to have some remains of the Barbary lions in captivity in some zoo's...
Strangely enough, they are bred on several places in Africa, but only for the hunt, white ones to!
And in the zoo's and some places in the USA, they don't know where to go with the bred lions, how is this possible?

I love them all too. I wish they would make one of the female lying down. Even one of a female in hunting pose. I would like a couple of those in a "pride" diorama.
What is the name of a tree in Africa that would work in a Lion Pride diorama, anybody able to help me out?

I'm not sure I'm able to help but I think the Schleich umbrella acacia would work!

I love all Papo`s tigers and lions also.
The white versions are not really my taste, but they are just as well made as the more "natural" ones, of course

Hello everybody
as this is my first topic I write, please be kind if I make some mistakes.

I got this nice Lioness with cub a short time ago. It was part of a larger lot of figures.
The figure is beautifully manufactured and the details are amazingly acurate, but unfortunately it´s not marked! The only stamp is the CE logo on the hind leg. The size fits to Schleich and other major brands.
Does anybody know where this piece comes from?
