Could you please tell me which animal is on front page of Mojo 2013 catalogue? Previous were lion and hippo.

The figure on the front is the Deinotherium and on the back is the panda. :)

Thanks, Paige, after two African animals, now a prehistoric figure. Thanks also for telling what is on back.

No problem Roger. I also thought using one of their prehistoric figures was cool. As far as my knowledge (which is very limited) I don't remember any of the big brands using an extinct figure on a catalogue, mainly horses or Africa related figures.

They are not so rare, actually I have some catalogues with prehistoric animals, mainly from CollectA. But, most of them are prehistoric reptiles. A nice example with a prehistoric mammal is 2009 CollectA catalogue with two mammoths. Though, a deinotherium is a much more alternative option.

This is my sorry excuse for an custom Amur Leopard. My camera is still in its endeavor to sabotage my figures, so it does look MUCH better in person. Made from an extra Safari Mountain Lion I could not get rid of.

Thanks Andreas. I'm still a little disappointed with the turn out, but I am getting used to it as well. I was deciding between a snow leopard or the Amur, and since I plan on getting the CollectA figures (someday, hopefully soon) I chose the rarer of the two.

Its such a beautiful repaint! 

It is curious your decision of using a mountain lion mould to repaint in an Amur leopard. The animal choice is very interesting, if I am not wrong, one of the favorite animals of Torben, the founder and Admin of this forum.
The result is pretty and it is great to see you're repainting figures. I think the Mojo leopard would work very nice as an Amur leopard. For a snow leopard the puma has not a good shape.  Looking forward to see more works from you.

Thank you both. Roger, I could not find any example of melanism or albinism in Mountain lions, so I had to do another species, and it looked like an Amur would fit best. I don't have the Mojo leopard yet, but now that you mention it, it would be a good candidate for a repaint as well.
