| Hi Oryx,
It’s from a set from a shop in the the Uk called the “Early Learning Centre” the set came with a monkey and person looking through binoculars. They normally stocked AAA branded animals. I hope that is of some help. |

| Hello caracal, what a beautiful eagle and interesting to know who the maker is. But I get irritated when I see your photos. The photo marked CHINA C does not match the other photos. It looks like the underside of another bird. Can you check your photos again? Benno. |

| Ho you're perfectly right, it's the underside of an unknown vulture I shall post soon here. So I canceled this picture and added another one. You can see there is no mark at all, even not "CHINA". Thank you Babdo! :) |

| Hello ! I've found this cow in a french fleamarket. The seller supposed it was a deluxe sized Bullyland cow (he also had a pair of said deluxe gorillas) but there is no brand on my cow and I can't find any similar Bullyland release. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Do you recognize this model ? Obviously she has seen better days but I'd like to ID her before deciding if I eventually customize or restore her. Thanks _________________ Lythrum Collection Model horses and other figures

But i am not a real expert in coralfish though, although i know a lot from this field also. But that all doesn't matter, as any collector of animal-models can see that a lot of these models are far of the reality... Exactly Willy toys are made for kids to play with and toy manufacturers produce stuff for children. Colour can be a fantasy and the kid isn't going to care. Unless their parents are fish experts and they take on this level of knowledge! If one wants realism one needs to purchase models. You can buy a toy car for a £1/$1/€1 but if you want a model car you need to pay £100/$111.67/€113.99.

Thanks Bullyland figures are usually marked and I don't remember seeing a Hereford made by Bullyland. Though, I might be wrong. Does the material feel like Bullyland? Also, what's the size when compared with a Schleich? It really needs a good restoring but it is sensate to identify it first. |

| She doesn't have the distinctive Bullyland feel, she's rather heavy like a solid cast. I don't have a comparison picture with a Schleich at the moment but I've measured that she is 10 cm high at the withers (bigger than a Schleich and a Collecta). _________________ Lythrum Collection Model horses and other figures

I don't have a comparison picture with a Schleich at the moment but I've measured that she is 10 cm high at the withers (bigger than a Schleich and a Collecta). So the chances of being a Bullyland are really low. Hopefully you can find the brand someday. |

| Does anyone recognise this lead dog and cat? They were sold as Britains but I don't think they are. They may have been repainted. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Roger, not seen a Britains lead cat or dog in these poses. The dog looks like new production as in non vintage as the pose has an animation not usually seen in older designs. Thinking similar regarding the cat. |

| Thanks, Chris. I was thinking the same about the dog, it looks modern. You may be right about the cat too. We'd be looking for a more modern company that still produced metal figures; I can't think of any. |

Here are a few for starters: William Hocker; Tradition; Nostalgia; Britains; Steadfast; British Bulldog; Dorset; King and Country; Imperial; and Trophy. An industry started in new metal soldiers since Britains released their first set in 1973. They were solid metal instead of hollow-cast. Some manufacturers also went on to produce non military ranges and included farm related models and this is where I believe the dog came from although I cannot, as yet, identify the manufacturer. |
