Very belated as I was traveling home from vacation. I have lots of fun things to share on forum when I get some time. :)

Fact I learned... their stimach is more similar to a sheep's than to other pigs given that it has chambers. They also will feed on their hind legs to reach vegetation higher up.

This pygmy hog is very rare now

Malayan and Indian porcupines!

Something new I learned....probably can be applied to all porcupines. Males are called boars, females are sows, babies are pups, and social groups/families are called prickles!

Pangolins!

Indian pangolins have the largest scales of the asian species.:)

Here are my yaks, water buffalo, gaur, and auroch.

Something I noticed but did not realize the significance of, water buffalo types (wild, domestic, etc.) have unique horn growth types and sets. The tamaraw has a V like figure, while the domestic carabao is more set in a rounded C, etc.

Those are lovely, one day I hope to get my hands on those yaks, you've now convinced me fully how cool they are!

Lovely group and great little Aurochs which is on my wishlist.

A fun fact, this species is 1 of 3 known to wash their food before eating it!

I love those Eikoh macaques, I only have Safari's. Beautiful pangolins! This reminds me that I have to post my walkaround of the new CollectA one

All really great critters. Absolutely love the babirusas!! I had no idea there were models of them out there. Also huge fan of that pangolin family.

Fun fact! Due to several adaptable characteristics (habitat preference, diet, and others) Himalayan tahr are invasive species introduced to the US, Argentina, New Zealand, and South Africa!

I love those, I've got the tahr and Markhor above and think they're probably my favourite of the goat models.

I didn't know about the Himalayan Thar spreading around the world

I am glad I'm not the only one who didn't realize this.
