Thank you! I also knew that not and i am not sure that this original.

Are they hard brittle plastic? If so they might be Marx Hong Kong and so could be painted. They didn't paint any of the figures made in the US. They have names on the bases? That means they are original Marx and not the later copies or reissues. If they are the usual soft plastic but painted then they are probably painted by a collector at some point. It is a nice job, they are very attractive

Yes, these series are from the 1950's, but later on, they were produced again with some more painting, same as in some mammal-series...

Yesterday i had a big lot from Rusty in, including the same deer as in the very first picture, but marked with Hong Kong, so a definate copy, as Tim already mentioned before, they were copied to, as many brands from that time.

Maybe it is a Marx after all, i can't really tell, i don't know to much about this brand.

As I said in other thread, but I will say here too - yes I think it's Marx. That series was all made in Hong Kong of the more rubbery plastic. It has the right colors and looks good quality to me. It matches with a reference image I have as well.
