| Okay, so they aren't the best pictures. And it's been a bit busy so I'll try to retake some of them a little less blurry at a later date. I guess I need to invest in better lighting and cameras :) I think this was handmade. (s)he's gorgeous. And the ears are felted. We're calling him/her "C" for absolutely no reason. :) Beautiful C seems to have broken his/her leg in transit - so if you have a good suggestion on the best glue, I'll take it. | I'm so happy to they arrived so soon but sad to hear the C has been damaged in transit. Any super glue is good to fix him, I use Loctite myself. How weid it's the leg that has broken.. C was originally a tiger. I got him without a tail and instantly saw a lynx in him. I forgot to take before-pictures but my friend Krista was so nice to take a photo of her tiger that is similar to my original. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Tiny tiger is just painted he was originally white. The other tiger is Bullyland micro paited in better colors. It was so much fun to make these. At first I was going to make completely needle felted figurine but sadly had no time so I had to keep it small. It is so nice to hear everyone likes these, especially you Laura.

| Today my package arrived! When I saw it came from Hungary I felt my heart jump, I was so happy! I could only think of the two wonderfull dogs I saw around in the main thread. I secretly fell in love with them the moment I saw the sketch, and I surely hoped it was them in that package. I had to laugh a bit at the box my secret was in. A box for cat food with the slogan "So gut wie es aussieht" meaning "as good as it looks". Well, they look wonderfull, and I'm sure they'll never leave me for the rest of my life! First I saw a letter, so I wanted to look at that before I opened any more. The first thing I found were the sketches I saw here on STS, and I couldn't believe my eyes. There was a letter too. I won't post the whole letter, but a detail that I just have to share is that these are the first dogs ever done by this wonderfull person! | Congratulations everyone on the custom work and additions. The photo-story with all the cats is entertaining and shows the size of the newcomers- the lynx is really interesting and a perfect size. The tiger base-figure is familiar but I never saw a lynx in it until now.  Of course the mini-tigers are great to see, too. The two dogs are real transformations! Again, something you wouldn't think of just looking at the original figures. The wonderful dogs and cats continue with Anna's drawing and the intricate painting on the cat. The pattern flows very naturally, giving a realistic definition to the sculpture- I think this affects the limbs especially.
