My Britains newcomers for 2011...

Would LOVE to see Papo make versions of Britain's lioness lying down with a male lion and lioness!!!!!!

Yes, Britains is my oldest love in model-collecting!

I found this little group on ebay Germany some time ago, and it came in this week...
I thought to get some colour-variations on some Britans items, but they were not marked as such, and so to be seen as Hong Kong copies, but same detailed by the way, so not abad thing after all.
The lioness is made by Timpo Toys Scotland, which i had already, so it is for the trade if someone is interested...

The copy of the Britains second Shirehorse, in a nice bay colour.


And the copy of the Britains deetail bullcalf in brown, and in Britains it is normally white with brown or black spots.


And a copy ogf the Britains Higland Bull, in a very light brown colour.

After all not bad, but ok, not what i was aspecting for the amount of 1 euro...

Congratulation!!! But i see farm-animals??

I know these farm animals figures, these are made in Poland between 1980 and 1990. The complete set contains: sheep, pig, horse, cow and calf. BTW: Some days ago I received such Timpo lioness too, do You know if exist related Timpo lion male?

Now i miss the Polish version of the sheep then...
The Scottish Higlander is a bull Susanne...
By the way, this lioness is double, so it is for the trade if anyone is interested, but i think, the tail was re-connected, but you don't see it very much on these smaller figurines...

Yes, Farmanimals, i keep my smaller stuff, like Britans, Timpo Toys, Hausser Elastolin and so on.
I collected them for almost 35 years, so it would be a shame to sell them again.
I only sell and trade my bigger scaled, and more modern farmanimals and horses.

Timpo Toys Scotland had quit a range of wild animals, i do have most of them.

I had a lot with 2 farm-animals coming in last week.
A bull and a cow...
I had the bull, but as i wanted the very rare cow, in this never seen colour, i really wanted this lot.
But the bull was somewhat better then the one i had, so it was an improvement anyway, so i have spare one for who is interested...
It was cheap as always, haha...
Before anyone will say that he or she thought that i wouldn't collect farm-animals before, yes, but only the big models are gone, not the older and smaller brands.
They are so long in my possession, that i won't part of them, and they have value to, not only sentimental! :)

2131 Britains vintage Bull brown and white running


2133 Britains Herald vintage Cow cremewhite
this model was a mould from Herald, which was bought by Britains in the late 1960's, this colour is completely new for me.
I have a black and white version, and this one has only some colour on the eyes and hooves, and doesn't look if the paint was rubbed of or so.

I have this baby polar bear standing and 2 in brown,I believe mine are copies made in China

I have the baby polar bear as well! I wish Papo would make a lioness in that same lying resting position! Baby Indian rhino has always been one of my fav's!
