| Hmm, the snowleopard has an odd looking fur. I have to wait, the pose seems nice and I know that the size will fit my collection (Papo is often to big and expensive with their cats). The reindeer looks nice, but I have to wait to see it from more angles. As I´m searching for a more domestical reindeer, I have to compare it with the Mojo one. |

Indeed I thought the same. The head is exactly the same. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | The tortoise and reindeer look okay. I would've liked something more akin to Schleich's previous reindeer though with more elaborate antlers. The camel and snow leopard have okay sculpts but the paintwork could be so much better. Such a shame too since Schleich used to have great production and paint quality up until a few years ago.
I think the reindeer antlers are the way they are because of safety concerns but they almost look like they're in velvet. Are there any toy deer that are meant to look like they're in velvet? |

| I think based on the photos its hard to judge the reindeer at the moment (angle, photo quality...), but yes to me it looks like "early growth" velvet antlers (I mean the antlers appear to me to be of an animal not done growing its rack, or perhaps just a young specimen) which is why I am most excited about this figure from their wildlife range. As far as my knowledge no other deer family figure was intended to look in velvet, they are the typical full grown antlers ready to spare for females. I really like the older schleich reindeer as well, especially in comparison to offerings by other companies. Bullyland produced one other that I also like quite a bit. And lastly I'd agree that the antlers style are likely based off of safety concerns, but then again it could have been the artist's references that they made the decision from. Here are my reindeer/caribou models, except my recently acquired mojo models. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | angtyson97@ which one? To me they are all brown... I think you might mean the extra large ELC figure on the top right?
Kiki@the CollectA brand is not so easy to find where I live or online for a reasonable price. I just cant find it in myself to pay extra for a model I know doesnt sell at that at regular retail. I just found a new seller I'll have to check if they have the reindeer. I just barely got the mojos a week or so ago. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Wow, I never thought I would be so disappointed by Schleich, the species choice was great but I really didn't expected so awful looking figurines. |

| Reindeer vs caribou and domestic vs wild has a been a topic of debate on this forum. I dont think anyone reached a consensus on the topic. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | You do not have to put pictures of 2020 on the topic until Schleich has published them (not before November, if I'm wrong) Have you seen or found the Arabian stallion? I could observe that the mare (gray / white)
