| More odd discoveries. The shark is clearly a papo copy, no stamp. The orca is marked 1998 china orca and is solid. The Schleich dino is a special item from some set I think as I recognize it but I can't find it on TAW or google currently. Seagull is marked as such and K. Hot pink coral and little crocs don't have anything to go on. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]_________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Thank you both! I am wondering if the gull is something from an Innovative Kids Groovy Tube. I know there is an ocean/beachside one but I can't find a photo _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I have a Papo giant tortoise without stamp and I bought it in a local shop with tag. 1998 is the year of all animals, without a brand marking it will be hard to know what it is. Could you please take a closer picture of the Schleich dino? Seagull is probably from the Junior groovies at the Seashore. An Innovative Kids figure but I don't have information of the content of this set.

| Thank you Roger!!! The shark surprises me with no stamp but I remember your tortoise story now. The paint job is different from TAW too, maybe its an early model? The orca, after a second better look, appears to be the PV model. But it is not stamped PV, mine is stamped 1996 while TAW says 1998... thoughts? [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]And the seagull is indeed from the junior groovies set! Probably will be repainted some day. Thank you my friend! I will post a closer pic of the schleich dino soon. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. Thank you my friend! I will post a closer pic of the schleich dino soon. You're welcome! About the orca, I think you identified it and the year on TAW seems to be wrong. There's a picture of the ventral side of the model on TAW but I can't read anything, though, I know dolphins are marked 1996 and not 1998. I will fix it. If it helps, my Papo tortoise is not even marked with China. Maybe with a closer picture I can find the set your Schleich dino belongs. When you have time, a picture of the seagull is also needed. |

| I think it is a miniature reproduction of that model bonnie! It has the same short neck.
THANK YOU ROGER! I knew I had seen it before but my brain was operating on half power the last few days. Thank you for the discovery! And as always, photos for TAW will be coming soon. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | I am going to be back to repainting models and as I was going through my box I found these. Tried to get a basic ID to select a repaint opportunity but couldn't decide... any ideas for me to ponder? | Zebra shark crossed my mind too. My big problem is either I am not educated enough on the anatomy of these ,(squid and ray) or there are 400 species of shark, leaving several posibilities to choose from. Thanks for the suggestion though! _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | With the barbs on the tail, could the ray be a stingray? |

| My thoughts too, but so many species to consider! What species do you have there in Florida? _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs. | Any ideas on manufacturers for these? No stamps, all well made and detailed etc. The ponies are pretty cute, the cat looks really familiar but I can't place it, and the scorpion is a neat small figure. | Upon closer inspection, the scorpion looks like Schleich's from the death valley set (included in other sets too). Its made of a different sort of plastic than I would have expected, thanks for the help guys! The other 3 I don't imagine have recognizable makers for them. But I feel like I have seen the cat somewhere before... maybe in Jill's collection. _________________ -"I loathe people who keep dogs.
