| Thanks) More pics of my new Breyers) Breyer Traditional Silver Wolfe the Norvegian Fjord, silver dun Breyer Spring Show Special, 2000A really handsome horse. He used to be highly on my wishlist, and I was very happy to get him. There was a real problem to choose between this silver dun and the original Henry the Fjord. This one seemed too pale and monochrome to me, but then I remembered the first Norwegian Fjord I've ever met, and he was of the same rare color. So i decided to take this one. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Although he has a 'Wolfie' name, he's more like a bear, I believe:)) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Then, several Stablemates. Breyer Stablemate Warmblood Stallion, G4His golden palomino colour's just incredible! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Unfortunately, this mold is too unstable and always trying to fall down. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breyer Stablemate Pinto Mare and Foal Set, retired By Maureen LoveBright and very sweet at the same time! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And here's a Peter Stone Chips Arabian Stallion. I'm not a PS Arab fan, but this little one is very pretty Just look how different Breyer and PS Arabians are! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I like his dark liver chestnut color. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

Thank you) Yes, I've heard such color is rather rare in this breed. Two more Peter Stone Chips (Stablemate Size, 1:30) from TGF. It's really hard to stop as you get the first little one, you know Peter Stone Chips Pinto[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]A really graceful creature. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The other one is a QH. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]The color's fantastic, it reminds me sour creme, I think. The only problem is that is came in with a broken ear:( [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Few new additions. Peter Stone Chips Andalusian Stallion, rose quartz.I really like this mold, and hope to get it in other colours too. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Even though his colour is decorative, I'm really glad I have him on my shelf now [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breyer Classic Grulla Mesteno Stallion with Dun FoalI've been waiting for them to arrive for nearly half a year and almost lost hope. It's really a miracle that they finally arrived! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Charging Mesteno MoldThis shaggy thing reminded me of a Scandinavian brookhorse named backahasten (kin of a Gaelic kelpie), so I named him this way :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Mustang FoalWhen I bought this little thing in February, I wasn't going to leave it in my collection (as I'm not fond of foals), but while it was travelling from the USA, I managed to get Mustang family with it's sister... And as I received the dun foal, I fell in love with this mold completely. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]No I feel like getting the whole conga Three of them are already in my collection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |

| Congrats on yet more lovely new additions! The Chips Andy is one of my favorite molds, and several are in my "never sell" collection. He even looks great in pink! And I'm so glad someone else appreciates the awesomeness of the Mesteno series! [Nostalgia break] The line debuted the year I lived in the US, and I spent the next few years following the hobby and wishing I could get hold of these models... (note to younger readers: I was a kid, and there was no internet - so international model shopping was almost impossible.) About 5 years ago I visited the UH shop in England, and found the Challengers set - the holy grail of my adolescence - and once I got those, I somehow acquired the other models as well.[/Nostalgia break] _________________ Stuff you should be reading: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] |

Well, you know, he looks quite natural, although it's a decorative colour. I think if the colour was a bit more yellow (or at least more pale), he could be referred to as cremello. - Quote :

I like this series very much! I already got three molds (FightingMesteno, Mesteno's Mother and Charging Mesteno now), and hope to get the others soon. The most HTF for me is Reflections:( I'm not sure whether I would try to get their congas (unlike to the Classic Mustang Stallion:), but to have each Mesteno mold in my collection seem to be a good idea=) - Quote :

Oh, it used to be a real quest to get some models without Internet, I guess. Even now it is rather hard to find with the use of Internet some models that aren't available in your country. |

No, Invincible used to be grey. But the form itself is suitable, I think. Uhhh, and I wish I could have some more shelves for all these horses, you know:) Some August newcommers:) Breyer Paddock Pals 'Paint Your Own Horse' Kit.[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Arabian Stallion mold. Have no idea about his future colour, but think about sth like chestnut, bay or bay going grey [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]This TB Stallion is already being painted. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I hope to make sth like dominant white Ukichan, a well-known Japanese racehorse. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Breyer Mini Winners[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.](the bay roan filly's just awesome!) Today I'm gonna take my Classic additions (Love's racehorses and C.Hess Mesteno) from the Post office. Hope to add their pics this evening:) |

| The only race horse I wasn't sure about was Kelso mold. I used to see her in different dark color variations, and they didn't touch me either. But then I noticed Breyer Classic Fine Horse family Set.This red roan Kelso is really impressive. Her coat looks so real, that I can almost fell its softness under my palm. I realised that the only Kelso I'd like to have on my shelf is this one, in red roan. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Some time ago I got Arabian family (also by M.Love), because I fell in love with the mare. But when I saw her, I was a bit disappointed- looking so wonderful and graceful on promo and home photos, she turned out to be quite plain in real life. Later, as Kelso came in, I realised that it was her that's impressed me so much. Just look, how similar they are- and yet how different at the same time. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And this is the Mustang foal, that went together with her and the stallion:) He's also red roan. Even though such bright color isn't a common thing for fillies (they get those pale hair later), this little thing is cute, anyway:) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]And this is Silky Sallivan mold, from the Fine Horse Family Set. . [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]He's not as easily pictured, as other Love's race horses, but if you ask him to show his beauty, he'll probably do this :) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]I've got all the Breyer Classic Race Horses Molds by Maureen Love now And I can finally focus on their colours:) Silky Sallivan, Swaps, Man'o'War, Terrang, Kelso. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My mustangs by Maureen Love:) (together with the last foal) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]My Mesteno molds by Rowland Cheney (Fighting stallions are missing from this photo) Hope to get Shaman with the foal and Sombra as well. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breyer Classic Reflections Mesteno, retired. I've been dreaming of him for several years. It's a pitty there's only one model and colour variation released on this mold, but he's great al the same. Lean (as my Mom sad- 'He's like a herring!') and bony, but very handsome. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Look at his fantastic mane! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Together with his Queen of Hearts:) [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Breyer Classic Yearling, Rojo Mold. Came in together with Reflections. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]Great color and realistic pose, isn't it? [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] |
