I received that wonderful tapir calf from Ana ...

hello friends,

last week I received that wonderful creation from Ana. It was necessary for my Schleich tapir to have a calf, so here it is :)

I would be happy to know if All 5 Tapir Species are available or only 2?
I have the Malayan tapir from Schleich (the Mom) and It is a really beautiful creation.
I have seen that there is another Tapir around and I am not sure which company has it?
Also I know that there is another Tapir species that we can get - I think it is the Baird's Tapir.

I wonder if there are all 5 species around?
And are there any babies we can get?

I think, the other tapir you mean is the Brazilian Tapir from Mojö Fun: https://sts-forum.forumieren.de/t7555-mojo-2013-brazilian-tapir-female

And none of the major brands have a mountain tapir and the Tapirus kobamani was found in 2012, I don't think, that any brand is such fast

The mountain Tapir is truly AMAZING! (I wish I could afford getting it) - It is so beautiful!
I have a question regarding scales - does ColectA and Mojo are sclaed with the Schleich one? Are they close enaugh to be in the same proportion?

Is there a CollectA and Mojo Fun supplier of which I can buy toys from including Papo and Schleich?
p.s. Aren't the young should be smaller in size or they stay with the same color till the reach full grownup size?

Baby Malayan tapir is a bit bigger scale than Schleich Malayan adult, it fits better with Japanese brand adult Malayan tapir Doki Doki. At the time when I sculpted this tapir baby (2008) I didn't check scale yet, it was 3rd animal figure I've ever made. Also Schleich had no tapirs at that time. Lately I painted my copy in subadult colours as you can see on this photo

About Mojo Brazilian, it's a bit smaller than Schleich Malayan and CollectA Bairds.
